15% of net proceeds from Mental Athlete Apparel sales are donated to trauma responsive youth anti-bullying, anti-violence, and suicide prevention organizations.

 

Some of our recent donations have gone to the following organizations:​

• 3e Footprints Collaborative: "The Footprints Collaborative is an asset-based community development initiative between 3e Restoration, York County Housing, The Village Initiative, Bacon Street Youth & Family Services, and Inner Peace Coalition to serve houseless unaccompanied youth who lack family support and do not qualify for established programs. It is a housing-first program attached to a system of care that will offer mental health services and substance use counseling (if needed) through Bacon Street Youth and Family Services, and qualified professional mentorship and  entrepreneurship through Inner Peace Coalition, and housing case management through York County Housing coordinated and facilitated by 3e Restoration. The Footprints Collaborative also partners with local school counselors and other community agencies like Literacy for Life."

• ​Stand Up for Yourself: "Stand up! For Yourself and Others is an anti-bullying initiative sponsored by HART (Historic Area Religions Together, an organization representing various faith communities in the Williamsburg Area) and the Williamsburg Community Foundation. The initiative was founded in October 2023. Our first activity was MLK Weekend, a presentation of the puppet show, in response to the growing concern of the effects of bullying on our children. Our mission is to help children learn to value individual differences and reduce the negative effects of anti-group bias on children in our community. As part of this initiative we are providing art and literature programs including books and puppet shows to local libraries and faith communities that teach children the importance of valuing individuality."
